It prints much faster in black only.<BR/><BR/>Many times I will flip over a page and print on the back side and opposite side. Like some coupons I can do this and it doesn't overlap. Of course you have to know how to do this so you don't ruin them.<BR/><BR/>I also highlight exactly what I want to print so I don't print items I didn't want or need. This will also save on ink. You can't just hit the print button. I light up what I want then right click to open the print menu. Then I can click on selected.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16193432599135463879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8599849284478680329.post-17967628407867942662008-11-12T01:46:00.000-06:002008-11-12T01:46:00.000-06:00Another way to reduce the cost of printing is to p...Another way to reduce the cost of printing is to print only the parts of web pages you actually want. Often times when you print a webpage, the stuff you want is buried under pages of ads and blog widgets and comment forms. Printwhatyoulike.com lets you trim down any webpage so it prints exactly how you want. The site also provides a bunch of other ways to avoid waste and reduce the cost of printing- you can merge multiple webpages into one print document, make any page black on white, widen articles to take up the full width of the page, and save any page as a pdf. Printwhatyoulike.com is free and runs inside your browser, so you don't have to install anything.jonathan_pwylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12706731239636646936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8599849284478680329.post-8727498683705343272008-11-11T22:11:00.000-06:002008-11-11T22:11:00.000-06:00I just got a bunch of free printer paper. Much to my dismay, the only way to prove what happened was for my supervisor to print out two and a half years of time sheets (stupid, I know). Since it was eight hours of vacation time at issue, I cringed and let the printing commence. Of course, I brought every single sheet home for personal use. I'm consitering it my Christmas bonus. Had to share with a fellow paper junkie.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
